Dr. Yoon Ji Jang, DDS
[General & Family Dentist]Dr. Yoon Ji Jang, DDS (Dr. Jang) is a Board Certified General Dentist at Newton Dentistry. Dr. Jang majored in Cellular, Molecular and Developmental Biology (BS) from the University of Washington in Seattle. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. During her time at the University of Michigan, Dr. Jang was involved in research on topical fluoride applications in dental school clinic. As Dr. Jang has been treating patients of all ages, she understands different needs for each patient. Dr. Jang practices all aspects of general and family dentistry, including restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Jang is certified in nitrous oxide-oxygen sedation. She is a member of American Dental Association (ADA) and Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS). Dr. Jang strives to provide the highest quality of care, tailored to each patient’s specific needs and goals.
Dr. Eva Du, DDS
[General & Cosmetic dentist]Dr. Eva Du DDS (Dr. Du) is a General Dentist at Newton Dentistry. Originally from Virginia and a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Dentistry, she is known by her patients for her kindness and southern hospitality. She strives to make every dental visit as comfortable and welcoming as possible, as the patient experience is essential to her. Dr. Du has extensive training in general dentistry, having completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program with NYU Langone Health. Her residency included both clinical and didactic components covering restorative dentistry, periodontology, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. During this time, she gained valuable experience working with diverse patient populations and managing complex full-mouth rehabilitation cases. She particularly enjoyed hands-on training in cosmetic and digital dentistry, as helping patients regain their beautiful smiles brings her the most joy.
Dr. Yolanda Ho DDS
[Periodontist & Dental Implant Specialist]Dr. Yolanda Ho, DDS is a Periodontist in Newton Dentistry. Dr. Ho was born and raised in Brazil where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at UCSF. She worked as a dentist in Virginia, Oregon, and Massachusetts. She moved to Boston to complete her Periodontics residency at Tufts University. Dr. Ho is well versed all in periodontal surgeries, including extractions, Implants, Sinus lifts, Pocket reduction surgeries for periodontal disease, gingival grafts for treatment of recession, bone regeneration (both around teeth and areas for implants), and full mouth rehabilitation cases. Dr. Ho’s main focus is to makes sure patients understand the reason why we treat the areas of concern and to make sure patients feels comfortable and know what to expect in terms of the treatment. Dr. Ho has a focus on being up to date with technology as it is rapidly changing. As a result, Dr. Ho is well versed in the most modern digital implant planning methods and plans all her implants digitally before placing them.
